The sabbath day (a biblical day) is a fixed day which starts in the evening at a specific clock time and not at a moving sunset time which falls at different times depending on the season. Jesus says that a day has 12 hours (John 11:9). Read the illustration of the use of the 12 hours in Matthew 20, the parable of the vineyard.

The Biblical day is not from sunset to sunset time because a day in the book of Genesis is 'an evening and a morning'. Sunset marks a later point in time (nightfall or darkness) as the day already started long ago in the evening.

Nothing in Moses and the Prophets may be adjusted. The divine clock remains the same forever (Daniel 7:25).

Deuteronomy 4:2 ASV
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 5:32 ASV
(32) Ye shall observe to do therefore as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Matthew 5:17-19 ASV
(17) Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.
(18) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.

James 2:10 ASV
(10)  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is become guilty of all.

From Antiquity, the sabbath (eSHABBAT) has been for all willing men in Israel and in every city of the world. Isaiah 56:1-8, Leviticus 15:13-16, Acts 15:21.

What all men, Israelites and pagans, must do to be saved has been already set and sealed in Moses at Sinai before the conquest of Canaan (Leviticus 18:5). Nothing in the Pentateuch already took place in Israel because the Israelites were still in the desert dying away when Moses wrote his book.
Jesus fulfilled but did not change anything in Moses. Matthew 5:17-18.

Leviticus 18:5 ASV
(5)  Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.

The SABBATH | eSHABBAT in Hebrew

ISAIAH 56:1-8 is the evidence that GOD (JESUS) appeals to each generation to remember His Shabbat | Sabbath. From the declaration of Jesus in Matthew 5:17-18 and the dogma found in James 2:10, everyone who shuns anything in the Law of Moses will not be saved. Before Jesus, no one was exempt from keeping the Law of Moses. We just chose to not obey Jesus (God).

(1) Thus saith Jehovah, Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.  (2)  Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth it fast; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.  (3)  Neither let the foreigner, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak, saying, Jehovah will surely separate me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.  (4)  For thus saith Jehovah of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:  (5)  Unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.  (6)  Also the foreigners that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast my covenant;  (7)  even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.  (8)  The Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith, Yet will I gather others to him, besides his own that are gathered. Isaiah 56:1-8 ASV

DO YOU BELONG TO JESUS? IF YOU DO, OBEY HIM FULLY!

John 10:14-16 LITV
(14) I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by the ones that are Mine. (15) Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. (16) And I have other sheep which are not of this fold. I must also lead those, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock, one Shepherd.

John 14:21 ASV
(21)  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.
ONE BIBLICAL DAY

One day of God is not the same as one day of men. One Biblical day covers 2 days of men

THE TIME TO START SHABBAT

The Shabbat Day starts at 4 PM in Israel.

How are we to behabe during the Shabbat day?

THE 8 SABBATHS OF THE BIBLE

There were also 7 other sabbath days in the Law of Moses. Which one was spoken of in the day of the burial of Jesus?

CHRISTIAN CLAIMS AGAISNT KEEPING SHABBAT OR THE LAW

False reasonings for not keeping the shabbat or any other doctrine of the Law of Moses

eSHABBAT FLOCK

Those who can hear the voice of Jesus do keep ONLY the 7TH DAY Shabbat AND NOT THE OTHER OBSOLETE Sabbaths

THE FALLACIES WHICH GENTILE BELIEVERS USE TO CROSS GOD (JESUS) IN HIS WORDS

I AM NOT A JEW FALLACY

Jesus made all mankind Jews

I AM NOT UNDER THE LAW FALLACY

However, if the Law is no more, there is no need of keeping the whole Law according to James 2:10 and there is no more sin according to Paul.

THE CROSS ABOLISHES THE SHABBAT FALLACY

In Matthew 5:17-18, Jesus signifies that His Advent has no bearing on the Law of Moses. Anathema to those who say He does.

If we're missing just 1 commandment in our belief system, we will not be saved because we are not without sin, that is, we are not holy. The grace of Jesus is for the holy ones, according to Ezekiel 33:13-20.

Ezekiel 33:13 ASV
(13)  When I say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his righteousness, and commit iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered; but in his iniquity that he hath committed, therein shall he die.
